Its flavor text, "Who needs mud guards?", playfully reinforces this visual theme. This distinctive SMG skin was released on September 1, 2018, as part of The 2018 Inferno Collection, coinciding with the FACEIT 2018, Ways to Watch update.

Drop Chance

MP9 | Slide is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It has appeared across 11 tournament packages, most recently the Rio 2022 Inferno Souvenir Package, Shanghai 2024 Inferno Souvenir Package, and Stockholm 2021 Inferno Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Since these tournaments have concluded, new souvenir packages are no longer being distributed.
