T-Side's Close-Range Gamble

The Sawed-Off is T-side's budget shotgun. At $1,100, it's cheap. With two shots, massive spread, and devastating close-range damage, it's either brilliant or catastrophic depending on the situation. Most players avoid it, but it has its believers. The Sawed-Off has a limited skin catalog reflecting its niche status. But there are some memorable options.

Sawed-Off Skin Landscape

  • Apocalypto (Covert): Technically leads the catalog. Its Aztec-inspired design is the best-looking Sawed-Off skin available. Factory New versions run $8-15, which is cheap for a Covert but reflects Sawed-Off demand.
  • The Kraken (Covert): Brings octopus creature artwork. It's more popular than Apocalypto, typically running $20-40 in Factory New because it's actually recognizable.
  • Budget: Most Sawed-Off skins are cheap by default. The weapon sees minimal use outside of specific situations, which suppresses demand. Serenity (Restricted) offers nature-inspired artwork for under $2. Wasteland Princess (Restricted) gives you post-apocalyptic design for similar pricing.

Why Sawed-Off skins struggle:

The weapon is T-side only, has two shots, and is incredibly situational. Players buy it rarely, which means they don't invest in skins. Even Covert skins stay cheap because there's no consistent demand. Sawed-Off StatTrak tracks your close-range gambles. The kill counter is evidence of either tactical brilliance or questionable decision-making. Premiums are minimal (10-20%) because the weapon sees so little use.

Notable Sawed-Off skins include The Kraken, Apocalypto, and Wasteland Princess. The Sawed-Off is T-side's most questionable weapon with a struggling skin market. If you're one of the players who actually uses the Sawed-Off, even Covert skins are incredibly affordable. Stash catalogs every Sawed-Off option.
