CT's Mobile Shotgun

The MAG-7 is CT-side's magazine-fed shotgun. At $1,300, it's cheaper than rifles but more expensive than most SMGs. It's built for holding tight angles and punishing aggressive T-side pushes at close range. The MAG-7 has a limited skin catalog reflecting its niche role. But there are some quality options if you're a shotgun player.

MAG-7 Skin Market

  • BI83 Spectrum (Covert): Leads premium territory. Its vibrant bismuth crystal design is the most impressive MAG-7 skin available. Factory New versions run $10-20, which is reasonable for a Covert shotgun skin.
  • Monster Call (Covert): Brings creature horror artwork. It's more expensive than BI83, typically running $20-35 in Factory New.
  • Mid-Tier and Budget: Most MAG-7 skins are inherently affordable. The weapon sees limited use compared to rifles or AWPs, which suppresses demand. Counter Terrace (Restricted) offers clean digital camo for under $2 in most conditions. SWAG-7 (Restricted) is discontinued and features branded design, usually running $3-8. Praetorian (Restricted) delivers Roman soldier artwork at budget pricing, typically under $5 even in Factory New.

Why MAG-7 skins stay cheap:

Shotgun usage is inherently situational. Most players buy MAG-7 only for specific positions on specific maps (Inferno apartments, Mirage stairs, etc.). This limited use case kills skin demand. MAG-7 StatTrak skins track your close-range defensive victories. The kill counter shows successful site holds and angle defenses. Premiums are minimal (15-25%) because the weapon sees such specialized use.

Notable MAG-7 skins include Monster Call, BI83 Spectrum, SWAG-7, and Praetorian. The MAG-7 is a specialist weapon with a specialist skin market. If you're a shotgun player who regularly holds tight angles with the MAG-7, even premium skins are affordable. Stash catalogs every MAG-7 option for players who've mastered the weapon.
