Origin Story

The MAG-7 | MAGnitude, released on September 17, 2025, as part of the Show Off update and The Genesis Collection, features a custom paint job that creates the appearance of a shockwave. This visual effect emanates from the bolt area above the trigger, making it a focal point. The Gunsmith finish style allows for a composite design that combines various visual elements. With a float range of 0 to 1, the shockwave graphic remains visible across all wear conditions.

MAG-7 | MAGnitude is Mil-Spec, a Blue-tier skin, less common than base collection drops. From the Sealed Genesis Terminal: approximately 11.42% per opening (roughly 1 in 9). The 79.92% Mil-Spec tier rate is split across 7 Mil-Spec skins in the case. StatTrak versions drop at ~1.14% from the Sealed Genesis Terminal (about 1 in 88). • Factory New ($1.32): The shockwave graphic around the bolt area appears with maximum color vibrancy and sharpness, showing no visible scratches.
• Minimal Wear ($0.32): The shockwave lines remain crisp, with only light edge wear beginning to appear on front-facing edges and sharp corners, such as the muzzle.
• Field-Tested ($0.16): Noticeable chipping and scratches appear on high-contact edges, and the shockwave graphic may show some softening, especially near the front of the receiver.
• Well-Worn ($0.10): Substantial edge wear is present, with larger bare-metal patches along the barrel and receiver; the shockwave lines may appear fragmented or thinned in these worn areas.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.10): Heavy surface wear is evident, with significant portions of the base material visible, particularly on edges and flat receiver surfaces, making parts of the shockwave effect appear largely worn away.

Model

MAGnitude uses the current MAG-7 model, added with Show Off on September 17, 2025. The Gunsmith finish responds to CS2's dynamic lighting.

How to Obtain

The MAG-7 | MAGnitude is acquired by opening a Sealed Genesis Terminal. Players can also obtain this Mil-Spec shotgun through trade-up contracts, using ten lower-rarity skins from The Genesis Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. For direct purchase, the skin can be found on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or various case-opening and skin-trading sites.
