Negev Skins

The LMG that becomes a laser after the first few bullets. Meme potential, actual utility.

The Laser Machine Gun

The Negev is Counter-Strike's other LMG. At $1,700, it's cheaper than the M249. With 150 rounds and a mechanic where accuracy improves as you spray, it's either a meme weapon or a legitimate hold-the-angle tool depending on who you ask. The Negev skin market is more developed than the M249's, reflecting slightly more competitive viability. But prices still stay reasonable across all tiers.

Negev Skin Market

  • Lionfish (Covert): Leads premium territory. Its vibrant ocean creature design is the most impressive Negev skin available. Factory New versions run $10-20, which is affordable for a Covert LMG skin.
  • Infrastructure (Covert): Brings architectural blueprint artwork. It's similarly priced to Lionfish, typically running $15-25 in Factory New.
  • Mid-Tier: Mjölnir (Classified) offers Norse mythology theming with hammer design. It's discontinued from the Norse Collection, which adds value. Expect to pay $8-15 for decent condition. Power Loader (Classified) delivers industrial machinery aesthetic. Field-Tested versions stay under $2, making it excellent value.
  • Budget: Most Negev skins are affordable. Man-o'-war, Dazzle, and CaliCamo all provide alternatives under $2. Boroque Sand (Restricted) gives you ornate design for under $1 in most conditions. Nuclear Waste is similarly priced with radioactive theme.

Why Negev skins are moderately priced:

The Negev sees more use than the M249 but is still situational. Players buy it for specific defensive positions (holding rushes, suppressing entries) rather than as a standard purchase. This creates modest demand without premium pricing. Negev StatTrak skins track your LMG defensive performance. The kill counter shows your ability to hold positions with sustained fire. Premiums are modest (25-35%) because Negev use is tactical rather than constant.

Notable Negev skins include Lionfish, Infrastructure, Mjölnir, and Power Loader. The Negev is Counter-Strike's more viable LMG with a reasonable skin market. If you regularly use the Negev for defensive positions, there are quality options at accessible prices. Stash catalogs every Negev skin for LMG enthusiasts.
