Origin Story

The Negev | Desert-Strike was introduced on July 1, 2014, as part of The Breakout Collection, which launched alongside Operation Breakout. This skin features a custom paint job with a high-tech design, rendered in tan and black. Its visual style gives the heavy machine gun a distinct, tactical appearance.

• Well-Worn ($0.42): The desert camouflage shows significant wear and fading, with parts of the underlying metal becoming visible.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.36): Heavy wear and tear are evident across the entire weapon, with much of the original paint scuffed and worn away.

Model

Desert-Strike uses the legacy Negev model, introduced with Operation Breakout on July 1, 2014. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The Negev | Desert-Strike is primarily obtained by opening the Operation Breakout Weapon Case. As a Mil-Spec rarity item, it is also a potential outcome of a trade-up contract using ten lower-rarity skins from The Breakout Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. Alternatively, players can acquire this skin directly from the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or various case-opening and skin-trading sites.
