CT's Auto-Sniper

The SCAR-20 is CT-side's auto-sniper. At $5,000, it's expensive. With its semi-automatic fire and scope, it's effective for holding angles and suppressing pushes. It's also guaranteed to generate complaints in casual matches. The SCAR-20 has a limited skin catalog reflecting its niche tactical role. But there are some quality options if you're an auto-sniper player.

SCAR-20 Skin Market

  • Bloodsport (Covert): Leads premium territory. Its aggressive red and black racing design is the most impressive SCAR skin available. Factory New versions run $15-30, which is reasonable for a Covert auto-sniper skin.
  • Enforcer (Covert): Brings bold graphic design with yellow and black. It's similarly priced to Bloodsport, typically running $20-35 in Factory New.
  • Mid-Tier and Budget: Most SCAR-20 skins are affordable by default. The weapon's controversial status and situational use suppress demand. Cyrex (Classified) offers clean tech-inspired design for under $5 in Field-Tested. Cardiac (Classified) delivers medical heart monitor theme for similar pricing. Blueprint (Restricted) gives you architectural drawing design for under $2. Army Sheen is even cheaper with military camo.

Hard Sells and StatTrak

The auto-sniper carries stigma despite tactical validity. Players are hesitant to invest in skins for weapons that draw criticism. This affects demand across all rarity tiers. SCAR-20 StatTrak tracks your auto-sniper performance. The kill counter is either proof of tactical effectiveness or evidence of questionable choices depending on who's judging. Premiums are minimal (15-25%) because the weapon sees limited use.

Notable SCAR-20 skins include Bloodsport, Enforcer, Cyrex, and Cardiac. The SCAR-20 is CT-side's controversial auto-sniper with a modest skin market. If you regularly use the SCAR for tactical holds, even premium skins are reasonably priced. Stash catalogs every SCAR-20 option for auto-sniper players.
