Origin Story

The Negev | Palm, released on September 19, 2013, with Operation Bravo, is a legacy item from The Alpha Collection. Its design features a spray-painted pattern created using cardboard cutouts, fine mesh, and palm leaves as stencils, resulting in muted tan, beige, and brown earth tones. This skin is primarily recognized for its historical significance as an early CS:GO-era design from a collection that is no longer in the regular Active Duty drop pool. The most visible elements in first-person view are the palm-leaf silhouettes and mesh pattern on the main receiver and upper body.

Drop Chance

Negev | Palm is Industrial Grade, a common skin tier, one step above Consumer Grade. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Alpha Collection item pool. • Minimal Wear ($11.17): The palm-leaf and mesh stencil pattern remains intact and clearly visible, with only light edge wear on the front and sharp corners.
• Field-Tested ($5.09): Noticeable chipping and scratches begin to appear on the receiver and front body, breaking up the palm-leaf shapes and mesh pattern, with underlying darker metal showing in small patches.
• Well-Worn ($6.18): Heavier chipping across large flat areas fragments the palm stencil and mesh pattern, with significant portions of the surface showing exposed darker base metal.
• Battle-Scarred ($7.98): The spray-paint layer is heavily worn, with many sections showing bare or nearly bare base metal, and palm and mesh shapes are often partially or mostly missing on the most exposed panels.

Model

Palm uses the legacy Negev model, introduced with Operation Bravo on September 19, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.
