This design is a direct nod to the popular "Popdog" ladder callout from the classic Train map. Released on October 18, 2019, as part of The CS20 Collection, this skin commemorates 20 years of Counter-Strike. Popdog uses the legacy MAG-7 model, introduced with Cache and Release on October 18, 2019. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

The MAG-7 | Popdog is primarily obtained by opening CS20 Case, which are now part of the rare drop pool. Players can also acquire this Mil-Spec shotgun skin through trade-up contracts, using ten lower-rarity skins from The CS20 Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
