This distinctive look is most visible in first-person along the receiver and barrel shroud. Released on April 15, 2015, as part of The Chroma 2 Collection, it arrived with the Chromatic Scale update. The skin is regarded as a mid-tier option, often chosen as a solid budget pick within its collection. • Well-Worn ($1.52): Larger areas of the orange-red paint are worn down, with significant coverage loss on edges and contact zones, making the weapon appear more muted.
• Battle-Scarred ($1.42): Substantial loss of the painted gradient, especially on the front and edges, results in a heavily used, dark metal impression with only fragments of color remaining.

Model

Heat uses the legacy MAG-7 model, introduced with Chromatic Scale on April 15, 2015. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The MAG-7 | Heat is primarily acquired by opening a Chroma 2 Case. As a Restricted (purple) rarity skin, it can also be obtained through trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from The Chroma 2 Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. For direct purchase, players can find the skin on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or various case-opening and skin-trading sites.
