Origin Story

The Sawed-Off | Forest DDPAT, released on May 1, 2014, arrived with The Hunt Begins update as part of The Bank Collection. This skin features a Digital Disruptive Pattern (DDPAT) hydrographic, applying a continuous camouflage design across the weapon. Its flavor text, "By the time you're close enough to notice the pixels it's already too late," hints at the close-quarters lethality of the Sawed-Off shotgun. The Forest DDPAT pattern is recognized for its digital woodland camouflage, characterized by muted greens, browns, and dark pixel blocks. • Field-Tested ($0.04): Scratches and dulling become more noticeable on the barrel and receiver edges, but the camo pattern remains clearly readable and intact. This is often a value tier for budget skins.
• Well-Worn ($0.09): Wear is clearly visible with more exposed base metal on high-contact spots, and the camo appears faded and patchy in some areas. This tier offers a rugged, "used in the field" look.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.04): Large patches of the digital camo are missing, particularly on the muzzle, sharp edges, and parts of the stock, giving a heavily battle-worn appearance. The camo can look washed-out and fragmented.
