Origin Story

The G3SG1 | Digital Mesh was introduced with Operation Broken Fang on December 3, 2020, as part of The Operation Broken Fang Collection. Its design features a custom red, white, and charcoal-colored DDPAT pattern, giving the G3SG1 a disruptingly intricate appearance. This Gunsmith-finished skin is a low-profile Mil-Spec option, often considered a thematic match for inventories with red or digital aesthetics. It serves as a budget-friendly choice within its collection.

G3SG1 | Digital Mesh is Mil-Spec, a Blue-tier skin, less common than base collection drops. From the Operation Broken Fang Case: approximately 11.42% per opening (roughly 1 in 9). The 79.92% Mil-Spec tier rate is split across 7 Mil-Spec skins in the case. StatTrak versions drop at ~1.14% from the Operation Broken Fang Case (about 1 in 88). These per-skin odds assume equal weighting within tier — Valve publishes tier rates but doesn't formally confirm even distribution across skins in a tier.

Float range 0 to 0.8. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is available in FN, MW, FT, WW, BS.

• Factory New ($4.69): The red, white, and charcoal DDPAT pattern appears crisp and fully intact across the receiver and upper body, with strong contrast and no visible scratches.
• Minimal Wear ($1.72): The overall pattern remains very similar to Factory New, with minor wear potentially appearing on sharp edges and corners of the weapon.
• Field-Tested ($1.23): More noticeable wear develops on edges and high-contact areas like the barrel and fore-end, with the digital pattern showing some dulling and less cleanliness.
• Well-Worn ($1.30): Edge wear becomes more pronounced, revealing larger areas of the darker base layer or metal, particularly on the barrel and prominent corners, making the pattern appear rougher.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.69): Extensive wear covers most exposed edges and surfaces, with significant scratching and larger patches of base layer visible, though the red, white, and charcoal digital pattern remains recognizable.

Model

Digital Mesh uses the current G3SG1 model, added with Operation Broken Fang on December 3, 2020. The Gunsmith finish responds to CS2's dynamic lighting.

How to Obtain

The G3SG1 | Digital Mesh is primarily obtained from opening the Operation Broken Fang Case. While this case is no longer in the active drop pool, it can still be acquired as a rare drop or purchased from other players. Players can also obtain this Mil-Spec rifle skin through trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from The Operation Broken Fang Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. Additionally, this skin can be purchased directly from the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or various case-opening and skin-trading sites.
