Origin Story

The P2000 | Panther Camo features a dark, spotted finish that evokes the stealthy appearance of a black panther. Released on December 3, 2020, as part of The Ancient Collection with Operation Broken Fang, this skin offers a subdued, almost monochrome animal camouflage. Its design provides a stealthy, low-contrast identity, visually aligning with the broader jungle and ancient themes of its collection. The skin's primary appeal lies in completing collections and acquiring souvenir versions.

Drop Chance

P2000 | Panther Camo is Industrial Grade, a common skin tier, one step above Consumer Grade. It has appeared across 8 tournament packages, most recently the Rio 2022 Ancient Souvenir Package, Shanghai 2024 Ancient Souvenir Package, and Stockholm 2021 Ancient Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Each package contains one item from The Ancient Collection, with rarity tiers drawn on a weighted system that heavily favors common grades, meaning Industrial Grade skins like Panther Camo are a small fraction of total package contents. There are 3 other Industrial Grade skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. New copies only enter the market when a recipient chooses to open their package, so supply trickles in over time even after the tournament ends.

Skin Condition

Float range 0 to 0.5. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Factory New ($10.43): The dark, spotted camouflage pattern is sharp and retains its full contrast across the slide and frame, with no visible scratches. The dark spots appear clean and well-defined.
• Minimal Wear ($2.84): The dark camo pattern remains largely intact, showing only subtle micro-scratches on exposed edges like the front of the slide and muzzle. The pattern and overall darkness stay very close to Factory New.
• Field-Tested ($2.38): Noticeable edge wear appears on the slide and barrel, and the dark camo pattern begins to dull slightly, with less gloss than higher tiers. The pattern remains legible but appears slightly washed.
• Well-Worn ($2.48): The camouflage pattern is noticeably muted and dull, with heavier wear and brighter worn patches appearing across the slide and other high-contact areas. The pattern is still present but shows significant dulling.

Panther Camo uses the current P2000 model, added with Operation Broken Fang on December 3, 2020. The Anodized finish responds to CS2's dynamic lighting.

How to Obtain

The P2000 | Panther Camo is exclusively available as a Souvenir skin from The Ancient Collection. It originally entered circulation through specific souvenir packages such as the Stockholm 2021 Ancient Souvenir Package, Antwerp 2022 Ancient Souvenir Package, Rio 2022 Ancient Souvenir Package, and Paris 2023 Ancient Souvenir Package, which were awarded to viewers during Major tournaments. Since new packages are no longer distributed, players primarily acquire this skin by purchasing existing copies on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or through case-opening and skin trading sites.
