Origin Story

The Nova Windblown features a randomized dandelion field pattern spray-painted across its body. This design, evoking a sense of natural whimsy, was introduced on May 3, 2021, as part of The Snakebite Collection during The End of Broken Fang update. Its in-game description, "It has been spray painted with a randomized pattern of a dandelion field," is complemented by the flavor text, "Get off my lawn," adding a touch of playful defiance.

Drop Chance

Nova | Windblown is Mil-Spec, a Blue-tier skin, less common than base collection drops. From the Snakebite Case: approximately 11.42% per opening (roughly 1 in 9). The 79.92% Mil-Spec tier rate is split across 7 Mil-Spec skins in the case. StatTrak versions drop at ~1.14% from the Snakebite Case (about 1 in 88). These per-skin odds assume equal weighting within tier — Valve publishes tier rates but doesn't formally confirm even distribution across skins in a tier.

Float range 0 to 0.5. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is available in FN, MW, FT, WW, BS.

• Factory New ($0.76): The spray-painted pattern is fully intact and vibrant across the shotgun's body.
• Minimal Wear ($0.38): Minor abrasions begin to appear on the edges of the pump and stock, but the main pattern remains clear.
• Field-Tested ($0.42): Noticeable wear and scuffs are visible on the weapon's high-traffic areas, particularly the barrel and receiver.
• Well-Worn ($0.42): Significant paint loss and scratching are evident across most surfaces, though the underlying pattern is still discernible.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.41): The spray-painted finish is heavily degraded, showing extensive wear and scratches that obscure much of the original design.

Windblown uses the current Nova model, added with The End of Broken Fang on May 3, 2021.

How to Obtain

The Nova | Windblown is primarily found by opening the Snakebite Case. Players can also acquire this Mil-Spec grade skin through trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from The Snakebite Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. For direct acquisition, the skin can be purchased on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or various case-opening and skin-trading sites.

Price Range

Nova | Windblown ranges from $0.41 (Battle-Scarred) to $0.76 (Factory New). Field-Tested copies sit at $0.42. StatTrak versions carry a premium at every wear tier.
