Origin Story

The Five-SeveN | Orange Peel debuted on November 27, 2013, as part of The Dust 2 Collection with the "Out with the old, in with the new" update. Its design features a spray-painted finish using masking tape as a stencil, creating a mottled orange and tan pattern across the pistol. This skin is recognized as a low-tier filler item within the broader Orange Peel family, often serving as a budget sidearm or souvenir collection piece. It does not carry the prestige of higher-rarity items but contributes to the thematic consistency of the Dust 2 Collection.

Drop Chance

Five-SeveN | Orange Peel is Industrial Grade, a common skin tier, one step above Consumer Grade. It has appeared across 11 tournament packages, most recently the Katowice 2019 Dust II Souvenir Package, London 2018 Dust II Souvenir Package, and MLG Columbus 2016 Dust II Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Each package contains one item from The Dust 2 Collection, with rarity tiers drawn on a weighted system that heavily favors common grades, meaning Industrial Grade skins like Orange Peel are a small fraction of total package contents. There are 4 other Industrial Grade skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. New copies only enter the market when a recipient chooses to open their package, so supply trickles in over time even after the tournament ends.

Skin Condition

Float range 0.06 to 0.8. Exteriors: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Minimal Wear (No Recent Price): The orange and tan spray-paint pattern remains mostly intact with only light edge wear on prominent corners.
• Field-Tested ($0.06): Visible chipping appears on the slide and muzzle, with the orange and tan pattern starting to look more muted.
• Well-Worn (No Recent Price): The orange and tan spray becomes substantially faded with extensive scratching, and larger patches of darker base metal show through.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.05): The spray-paint layer is heavily worn, with significant portions of the slide and frame showing exposed dark metal and only remnants of the orange and tan pattern.

Orange Peel uses the legacy Five-SeveN model, introduced with Out with the old, in with the new on November 27, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The Five-SeveN | Orange Peel is exclusively available as a Souvenir skin, originating from various Dust II Souvenir Packages such as the Atlanta 2017, Berlin 2019, and Cologne 2016 editions. These packages were historically awarded to viewers during Major tournaments for watching matches played on the Dust II map. Since new packages are no longer being distributed, players primarily acquire this skin by purchasing existing copies from the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or specialized case-opening and skin trading sites.
