Origin Story

The G3SG1 | Keeping Tabs, released on September 22, 2021, as part of The Operation Riptide Collection, draws its custom paint inspiration from the tactical map display found in Danger Zone. Its design features dark greys and blacks contrasted with bright UI elements like lines, icons, and grids, creating a distinct interface motif. The upper receiver and scope area, adorned with these map graphics, serve as the primary visual focus in first-person view. This Mil-Spec rifle skin functions as a mid-tier collectible within its discontinued operation collection.

• Well-Worn ($1.77): Visible chipping and dulling occur across larger sections, making graphical elements appear partially eroded, especially near the front and along sharp edges.
• Battle-Scarred ($1.17): Heavy wear results in substantial paint loss, particularly on protruding parts, with large areas showing underlying metal and fragmented map designs.

The G3SG1 | Keeping Tabs was originally available as a drop from The Operation Riptide Collection while Operation Riptide was active. Since the operation has concluded, new supply for this Mil-Spec skin now comes from trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from The Operation Riptide Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. Players can also acquire this skin by purchasing it directly from the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or various skin-trading sites.
