Origin Story

The PP-Bizon | Brass was introduced on November 27, 2013, as part of The Dust 2 Collection with the "Out with the old, in with the new" update. This Mil-Spec SMG features parts of the weapon replaced with brass, giving it a distinct metallic appearance. Its in-game description, "Fool's gold," hints at its understated nature. The skin is generally considered a budget or filler option within its collection, rather than a high-status item.

Drop Chance

PP-Bizon | Brass is Mil-Spec, a Blue-tier skin, less common than base collection drops. It has appeared across 11 tournament packages, most recently the Katowice 2019 Dust II Souvenir Package, London 2018 Dust II Souvenir Package, and MLG Columbus 2016 Dust II Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Each package contains one item from The Dust 2 Collection, with rarity tiers drawn on a weighted system that heavily favors common grades, meaning Mil-Spec skins like Brass are a small fraction of total package contents. There are 2 other Mil-Spec skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. New copies only enter the market when a recipient chooses to open their package, so supply trickles in over time even after the tournament ends.

Model

Brass uses the legacy PP-Bizon model, introduced with Out with the old, in with the new on November 27, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The PP-Bizon | Brass is exclusively available in Souvenir quality, originating from Dust 2-based Souvenir Packages such as the Atlanta 2017 Dust II Souvenir Package and the Katowice 2019 Dust II Souvenir Package. These packages were historically awarded to viewers during Major tournaments when matches were played on the Dust 2 map. Since new packages are no longer distributed, players primarily acquire this skin by purchasing existing copies from the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or specialized CS2 skin trading sites.
