Origin Story

The MP7 Sunbaked, released on April 25, 2023, as part of The Anubis Collection, features a custom paint job with lines that resemble grooves on a topographical map. This design is applied in warm desert tones, including sand, beige, and light brown, accented by darker browns and muted grays. Its aesthetic aligns with the broader Anubis ancient desert theme, offering a visually cohesive element within the collection. The skin's in-game description, "Bleed between the lines," adds a subtle thematic touch to its unique pattern.

Drop Chance

MP7 | Sunbaked is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It has appeared across 5 tournament packages, most recently the Copenhagen 2024 Anubis Souvenir Package, Paris 2023 Anubis Souvenir Package, and Shanghai 2024 Anubis Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. • Minimal Wear ($0.26): Minor edge wear begins to appear on the barrel and magazine corners, but the topographical lines remain vibrant and legible.
• Field-Tested ($0.11): Noticeable scratching and small areas of paint loss are visible on exposed metal parts, though the topographical pattern is still clearly readable.
• Well-Worn ($0.06): Heavy edge wear and a dulling of the desert tones are present, with the topographical lines appearing partially eroded on the weapon's front and rear.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.10): Extensive wear leaves large portions of the finish missing, with the topographical pattern significantly broken and underlying metal visible.
