The skin's gunsmith finish combines multiple techniques to create a complex, layered look. The SSG 08 | Rapid Transit is primarily acquired by opening the Gallery Case. As a Restricted rarity skin, it can also be obtained through trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from The Gallery Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
