Origin Story

The P250 | Boreal Forest, released on November 27, 2013, with the "Out with the old, in with the new" update, is part of The Lake Collection. This pistol features a forest camouflage hydrographic, painted with irregular patches of green, brown, beige, and dark shapes. Its design provides a muted, earthy camouflage sidearm that blends with map environments. The skin is a common, low-tier option, often grouped with other early-game boreal forest camo skins.

Drop Chance

P250 | Boreal Forest is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Lake Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Consumer Grade drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. • Minimal Wear ($0.09): The hydrographic forest camouflage is most vibrant here, with green, brown, beige, and dark shapes showing only very light edge wear on the slide and front.
• Field-Tested ($0.04): Noticeably more edge wear and small chips appear on the front of the slide and around sharp corners, with colors slightly dulled but the camo pattern still clearly readable.
• Well-Worn ($0.04): The hydrographic pattern shows heavier chipping on the front and top of the slide and along edges, with some camo patches becoming broken or interrupted by wear spots.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.04): The camouflage becomes significantly faded and chipped, with large areas of exposed base on high-contact surfaces, giving the gun a rough, battlefield-used aesthetic.

How to Obtain

The P250 | Boreal Forest is part of The Lake Collection, which means it is no longer available as a regular post-match drop. Instead, it can be obtained from the Lake Collection Package. Players can also acquire this skin through trade-up contracts, using ten lower-rarity skins from the same collection.A Souvenir-quality variant of this skin also exists and is tradable on the secondary market.
