Origin Story

The XM1014 | Blue Spruce, released on November 27, 2013, with the "Out with the old, in with the new" update, is part of The Lake Collection. Its design features individual parts spray-painted in solid moss colors, creating a simple, utilitarian aesthetic. As a Consumer Grade shotgun, it is generally regarded as a common, low-tier collection piece. This skin primarily serves as a budget-friendly option for collection completion or as a cheap souvenir.

Drop Chance

XM1014 | Blue Spruce is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Lake Collection item pool. • Battle-Scarred ($0.07): Substantial paint loss occurs on many edges and across flatter surfaces, making the moss color appear muted, dirty, and heavily scuffed.

Blue Spruce uses the legacy XM1014 model, introduced with Out with the old, in with the new on November 27, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.
