Origin Story

Released on April 1, 2025, as part of the Spring Forward update and included in The Ascent Collection, this skin is known for its "Hex marks the spot" flavor text.

Drop Chance

MP5-SD | Lime Hex is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Ascent Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Consumer Grade drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. There are 10 other Consumer Grade skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. Most copies enter the market through trade-up contracts or direct purchase at a listed seller's price.

Float range 0 to 0.64. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Minimal Wear ($0.03): Minor scuffs begin to appear on the edges of the receiver and magazine.
• Field-Tested ($0.03): Noticeable wear and scratching are visible, particularly on the stock and barrel, but the pattern remains distinct.
• Well-Worn ($0.03): Significant paint loss and abrasions are present across the weapon, diminishing the vibrancy of the lime hex pattern.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.03): The finish is heavily degraded with large areas of paint missing, making the hexagonal pattern faded and obscured.
