Origin Story

The FAMAS | Contrast Spray, released on August 14, 2013, as part of The Arms Deal update, is a Consumer Grade skin from The Office Collection. The skin's visual identity is defined by its muted gray base and irregular dark and light strokes across the weapon's body. This skin is generally considered a budget-friendly option from the early days of CS:GO, often serving as a filler item rather than a collector's centerpiece.

Drop Chance

FAMAS | Contrast Spray is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Office Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Consumer Grade drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. It is the only Consumer Grade skin in the collection. Most copies enter the market through trade-up contracts or direct purchase at a listed seller's price.

Skin Condition

Float range 0.06 to 0.8. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Factory New ($199.00): The gray base is clean and the contrasting dark gray/black and lighter strokes are sharp and continuous across the receiver and handguard.
• Minimal Wear ($22.17): Minor scratches begin to appear on sharp edges like the front of the handguard, but the spray lines remain clearly defined.
• Field-Tested ($9.63): Noticeable chipping along the outer edges of the receiver and stock shows more of the gray base, and the spray pattern appears slightly faded.
• Well-Worn ($131.81): Scratches and edge wear become conspicuous, with larger patches of the gray base showing through on the stock and front of the rifle.
• Battle-Scarred ($10.23): Heavy chipping and wear are present along nearly all exposed edges, with the gray base widely visible, and the spray lines appear faded and broken.

Contrast Spray uses the legacy FAMAS model, introduced with The Arms Deal on August 14, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.
