Origin Story

The Galil AR | Grey Smoke, released on April 1, 2025, as part of the Spring Forward update, features a hydrographic grayscale graphic pattern. Its in-game description notes that "A grayscale graphic pattern has been applied," while the flavor text humorously asks, ""Do you know how much color cartridges cost?!"" This design choice results in a neutral, monochromatic appearance for the weapon. The skin is part of The Ascent Collection.

Drop Chance

Galil AR | Grey Smoke is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Ascent Collection item pool. • Well-Worn ($0.03): Pronounced chipping on the outer edges and a dulling of the grayscale print are visible, especially around the muzzle-end parts and stock edges, making the weapon look visibly more used.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.03): Heavy edge wear and significant exposure of the underlying material are present, with the pattern appearing patchier and some areas heavily scraped, reflecting its low to mid Battle-Scarred float range.
