Origin Story

The M4A1-S Master Piece features a custom paint job with wildstyle graffiti, giving the rifle a distinct urban art style. This design was introduced on July 1, 2014, as part of the Operation Breakout update and is found within The Overpass Collection. The skin's vibrant and chaotic graffiti elements make it a recognizable choice for players.

M4A1-S | Master Piece is Classified, a Pink-tier skin, rare with strong collector demand. It has appeared across 18 tournament packages, most recently the Paris 2023 Overpass Souvenir Package, Rio 2022 Overpass Souvenir Package, and Stockholm 2021 Overpass Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Each package contains one item from The Overpass Collection, with rarity tiers drawn on a weighted system that heavily favors common grades, meaning Classified skins like Master Piece are a small fraction of total package contents. New copies only enter the market when a recipient chooses to open their package, so supply trickles in over time even after the tournament ends.

How to Obtain

The M4A1-S | Master Piece is exclusively available as a Souvenir item, originally distributed in Souvenir Packages during Major tournaments. These packages, such as the Antwerp 2022 Overpass Souvenir Package and the Copenhagen 2024 Overpass Souvenir Package, were awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the Overpass map. Since these tournaments have concluded, new packages are no longer being distributed.
