Origin Story

The Bayonet | Doppler, released on January 8, 2015, with the Full Spectrum update, features a blade painted with black and silver metallic paints using a marbleizing medium, then candy coated for a glossy finish. This process gives the knife a gem-like appearance, with swirling patterns across its surface. It is considered a high-end, classic knife skin, known for its bright, reflective blade. The in-game flavor text warns, "Getting lost in its color can prove fatal."

Drop Chance

Bayonet | Doppler is a knife-tier skin, so standard Valve rarity odds don't apply. Knives drop at a combined rate of approximately 0.26% from supported cases before accounting for which knife type and finish you get. Valve doesn't publish individual knife or phase probabilities.

Skin Condition

Float range 0 to 0.08. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear. StatTrak is available in FN, MW.

• Factory New ($582.30): The blade surface is fully intact, glossy, and highly vibrant, with the marbleized black and silver Doppler pattern uninterrupted across the play side.
• Minimal Wear ($688.53): The overall pattern and color remain very close to Factory New, with minor wear appearing as tiny edge smoothness or faint lightening at the tip or along the cutting edge.

Model

Doppler uses the legacy Bayonet model, introduced with Full Spectrum on January 8, 2015. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

The Bayonet | Doppler is primarily obtained as a rare special item from weapon cases that feature Doppler knife finishes. Knives are exceptionally rare drops, with a combined drop rate of approximately 0.26% from cases. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. Players can also acquire this knife directly from other players on the Steam Community Market, through various third-party marketplaces, or via case-opening and skin-trading sites.
