Origin Story

The FAMAS | Neural Net was released on May 26, 2015, as part of The Falchion Collection alongside the Operation Bloodhound update. It features a deep blue base with yellow, circuit-like geometric lines and nodes, painted with a translucent hydrographic over a metallic base coat. This design gives the skin a clean, modern appearance, often grouped with futuristic or sci-fi themed finishes. The skin's visual identity is defined by its blue and yellow neural network pattern.

Drop Chance

FAMAS | Neural Net is Restricted, a Purple-tier skin in the upper half of the rarity ladder. From the Falchion Case: approximately 3.20% per opening (roughly 1 in 31). The 15.98% Restricted tier rate is split across 5 Restricted skins in the case. StatTrak versions drop at ~0.32% from the Falchion Case (about 1 in 313). These per-skin odds assume equal weighting within tier — Valve publishes tier rates but doesn't formally confirm even distribution across skins in a tier.

Skin Condition

Float range 0 to 0.6. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is available in FN, MW, FT, WW, BS.

• Factory New ($22.11): The deep blue base is rich and glossy with a strong metallic sheen, and the yellow neural-grid lines are sharp and continuous across the weapon.
• Minimal Wear ($2.89): The blue and yellow remain vibrant with strong metallic gloss, though very small scratches may appear on some edges like the front handguard, often making it a value pick.
• Field-Tested ($1.43): The blue base appears less glossy and slightly muted, with yellow lines showing small breaks and thinning on high-contact edges and corners.
• Well-Worn ($1.74): The blue tone becomes duller and flatter with significantly reduced metallic reflections, and the yellow neural lines show noticeable breaks, fading, and chipping.
• Battle-Scarred ($1.46): The blue can look significantly faded, sometimes approaching a washed-out or grayish blue, and large portions of the neural grid lines may be eroded or fragmented.

Model

Neural Net uses the legacy FAMAS model, introduced with Operation Bloodhound on May 26, 2015. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The FAMAS | Neural Net is primarily obtained by opening the Falchion Case. Although the Falchion Case is no longer an active drop, it can still be acquired and opened. Players can also obtain this Restricted-grade skin through trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from The Falchion Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. For direct purchase, the skin is readily available on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, and various case-opening sites.
