Origin Story
The Dual Berettas | Duelist was released on May 26, 2015, as part of The Chop Shop Collection during Operation Bloodhound. This pistol features painted mother-of-pearl grips and a dark forced patina, giving it an ornate, antique appearance. The mother-of-pearl grips create a distinct contrast with the dark metal surfaces, making them a focal point in first-person view. As an older, Restricted rarity item from a discontinued operation collection, the Duelist is primarily sought by collectors completing themed sets or those appreciating its unique gunsmith-style aesthetic in CS2's updated lighting.
Drop Chance
Dual Berettas | Duelist is Restricted, a Purple-tier skin in the upper half of the rarity ladder. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Chop Shop Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Restricted drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. There is 1 other Restricted skin in the collection competing for the same drop slot. Most copies enter the market through trade-up contracts or direct purchase at a listed seller's price.
Skin Condition
Float range 0 to 1. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.
- Factory New ($430.75): The dark patina is uniform and rich across the slide and frame, with the mother-of-pearl grips appearing bright and sharply detailed.
- Minimal Wear ($408.89): Slight softening of the patina may appear at the sharpest edges, but the mother-of-pearl grips remain almost pristine.
- Field-Tested ($342.01): Noticeable but moderate wear begins on the slide edges and frame, with the patina becoming patchier and showing more scuffs.
- Well-Worn ($403.02): The patina is heavily scuffed with large areas of exposed base metal, and the mother-of-pearl grips show visible fading or scratching.
- Battle-Scarred ($369.68): Extensive wear leaves large portions of the slide and frame with exposed base metal, giving the pistols a very worn, relic-like appearance.
Model
Duelist uses the legacy Dual Berettas model, introduced with Operation Bloodhound on May 26, 2015. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

Sticker Compatibility
The Duelist's dark metal and mother-of-pearl grips create a palette suitable for white, cream, silver, or gold stickers that complement its antique aesthetic. Dark, minimalistic stickers in black, gray, or deep blue can also sit cleanly on the slide. Stickers placed on the upper slide and rear of each pistol are most visible in first-person during gameplay.
