Origin Story

The M4A4 | Desolate Space was launched on 16 June 2016 as part of the Gamma Collection, accompanying the Gamma Exposure update. Created by community artist Coridium, this skin quickly became one of the most popular M4A4 designs ever released – blending a cosmic sci-fi aesthetic with grim skeletal imagery. It’s a visual collision between death and the infinite void of space, and that juxtaposition made it a staple in CS:GO’s art legacy.

As a Classified Rifle, the Desolate Space carries a low drop rate – about 3.2% within its rarity tier and roughly 1% overall per case opening. StatTrak versions are rarer still, appearing in only around 10% of those drops.
