Origin Story

The G3SG1 | Stinger features a Gunsmith finish, applying yellow and grey accents over a darker, industrial base for a mechanical aesthetic. Released with The Glove Collection as part of the Brothers In Arms update in November 2016, it was originally found in the Glove Case. This skin offers a distinct visual for the G3SG1, with its design focusing on a custom-shop look rather than bright or cartoonish elements. The scope housing, receiver, and central body panels prominently display the yellow and grey detailing in first-person view.

Model

Stinger uses the legacy G3SG1 model, introduced with Brothers In Arms on November 29, 2016. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The G3SG1 | Stinger is primarily obtained by opening a Glove Case, though new cases are no longer actively dropping in-game. Players can also acquire this Restricted rifle through trade-up contracts, using ten lower-rarity skins from The Glove Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. For direct purchase, the skin is readily available on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, and various case-opening or skin trading sites.
