P90 | Death Grip

Origin Story

The P90 | Death Grip, released on May 24, 2017, as part of the Operation Hydra Collection, features a hydrographic pattern of overlapping hands applied over a blue base. Its in-game description highlights this visual, while the flavor text "Do not go quietly" adds a layer of thematic intensity.

Drop Chance

P90 | Death Grip is Restricted, a Purple-tier skin in the upper half of the rarity ladder. From the Operation Hydra Case: approximately 3.20% per opening (roughly 1 in 31). The 15.98% Restricted tier rate is split across 5 Restricted skins in the case. StatTrak versions drop at ~0.32% from the Operation Hydra Case (about 1 in 313). These per-skin odds assume equal weighting within tier — Valve publishes tier rates but doesn't formally confirm even distribution across skins in a tier.
