Origin Story

The AUG | Sweeper, with its "Clear a path" flavor text, was introduced on September 1, 2018, as part of The 2018 Inferno Collection, coinciding with the FACEIT 2018 - Ways to Watch update. This skin features a spray-painted brown, grey, and red mesh pattern across its body. Its design offers a rugged, tactical appearance, distinguishing it within the collection.

Drop Chance

AUG | Sweeper is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It has appeared across 11 tournament packages, most recently the Rio 2022 Inferno Souvenir Package, Shanghai 2024 Inferno Souvenir Package, and Stockholm 2021 Inferno Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Each package contains one item from The 2018 Inferno Collection, with rarity tiers drawn on a weighted system that heavily favors common grades, meaning Consumer Grade skins like Sweeper are a small fraction of total package contents. There are 4 other Consumer Grade skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. New copies only enter the market when a recipient chooses to open their package, so supply trickles in over time even after the tournament ends.

Skin Condition

Float range 0 to 0.6. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Factory New ($0.11): The spray-painted "Sweeper" graphic is fully intact and vibrant across the weapon.
• Minimal Wear ($0.04): Minor wear begins to appear on exposed edges, but the main graphic remains clear.
• Field-Tested ($0.03): Noticeable scuffs and abrasions develop, particularly on high-traffic areas of the weapon.
• Well-Worn ($0.04): Significant paint loss is visible, causing the graphic to appear faded and heavily worn.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.04): The spray paint is extensively chipped and scratched, with much of the underlying surface exposed.

Sweeper uses the legacy AUG model, introduced with FACEIT 2018 – Ways to Watch on September 1, 2018. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The AUG | Sweeper is exclusively available as a souvenir item from The 2018 Inferno Collection. It was originally distributed through special souvenir packages such as the Antwerp 2022 Inferno Souvenir Package, Berlin 2019 Inferno Souvenir Package, Katowice 2019 Inferno Souvenir Package, and London 2018 Inferno Souvenir Package, awarded to viewers during Major tournaments. Since these tournaments have concluded, new souvenir packages are no longer being distributed. Buyers can acquire this skin by purchasing it directly from the Steam Community Market, various third-party marketplaces, or specialized CS2 skin trading sites.
