Origin Story

The AUG | Storm, released on November 27, 2013, as part of the "Out with the old, in with the new" update, is a straightforward design from The Lake Collection. Its in-game description notes that individual parts are spray-painted in solid colors, creating a stormy color scheme. This Consumer Grade skin is primarily valued for collection completion or as a simple, subdued option for the AUG. It presents a muted blue-grey palette, giving the weapon a desaturated, overcast appearance.

Drop Chance

AUG | Storm is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Lake Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Consumer Grade drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. There are 5 other Consumer Grade skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. Most copies enter the market through trade-up contracts or direct purchase at a listed seller's price.

Skin Condition

Float range 0.06 to 0.8. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Factory New ($2.07): The stormy blue-grey tones are nearly pristine across the main body, handguard, and scope housing.
• Minimal Wear ($0.10): Small chips and hairline scratches begin to appear on the extreme edges of the barrel and front of the handguard.
• Field-Tested ($0.04): Noticeable edge wear and scattered scratches appear on the front of the weapon and around the scope, with the stormy color scheme appearing marginally duller.
• Well-Worn ($0.05): Heavier scuffing and exposed base material are visible on high-contact areas, though the body largely retains its stormy palette.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.05): Extensive edge wear and large areas of visible base material give the weapon a significantly distressed, weather-beaten appearance.

Model

Storm uses the legacy AUG model, introduced with Out with the old, in with the new on November 27, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The AUG | Storm is part of The Lake Collection and is not available through standard case openings. Players can also acquire this skin through trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from The Lake Collection. Additionally, a Souvenir version of the AUG | Storm exists, obtainable from Lake Collection Souvenir Packages. Both the standard and Souvenir versions are available for purchase on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, and various CS2 skin trading sites.
