Origin Story

The P90 | Storm was introduced on July 1, 2014, as part of Operation Breakout and belongs to The Cobblestone Collection. Its design features individual parts spray-painted with solid colors in a stormy blue and grey palette, as described in its in-game flavor text. This skin is primarily recognized as a low-tier, budget P90 within its collection. It serves as a completion item for souvenir sets from the discontinued Cobblestone Collection rather than a standalone target for most collectors.

Drop Chance

P90 | Storm is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It has appeared across 10 tournament packages, most recently the ESL One Katowice 2015 Cobblestone Souvenir Package, Krakow 2017 Cobblestone Souvenir Package, and MLG Columbus 2016 Cobblestone Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Each package contains one item from The Cobblestone Collection, with rarity tiers drawn on a weighted system that heavily favors common grades, meaning Consumer Grade skins like Storm are a small fraction of total package contents. There are 4 other Consumer Grade skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. New copies only enter the market when a recipient chooses to open their package, so supply trickles in over time even after the tournament ends.

Float range 0.06 to 0.8. Exteriors: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Minimal Wear ($4.29): Paint coverage is nearly complete, with only small edge nicks and micro-scratches on corners and high-contact ridges.
• Field-Tested ($2.73): Wear is clearly visible on common contact points, with more exposed metal on the front grip, stock corners, and magazine housing edges.
• Well-Worn ($2.61): The solid color panels start to look heavily chipped, especially around the front assembly, top edges, and rear stock, showing broader worn patches.
• Battle-Scarred ($2.53): Large areas of the weapon show extensive paint loss, particularly on all major edges and the front/underside, with heavy scratching on the top receiver and body.

Model

Storm uses the legacy P90 model, introduced with Operation Breakout on July 1, 2014. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The P90 | Storm is exclusively found in souvenir packages from past CS:GO Major tournaments, such as the Atlanta 2017 Cobblestone Souvenir Package and the DreamHack 2014 Cobblestone Souvenir Package. These packages were originally awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the Cobblestone map. Since these tournaments have concluded, new packages are no longer distributed. Players can acquire existing copies of the P90 | Storm by purchasing them directly from other players on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or through various case-opening and skin trading sites.
