Origin Story

The MP9 | Storm, released on July 1, 2014, as part of The Overpass Collection with Operation Breakout, features individual parts spray-painted in solid, muted blues and greys, creating a stormy color scheme. This Consumer Grade skin is a quiet, utilitarian piece, primarily serving as a budget-friendly option for Overpass-themed loadouts or for completing collection sets. Its visual identity is defined by these simple, blocky color areas rather than intricate patterns or lore. Drop Chance

MP9 | Storm is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It has appeared across 18 tournament packages, most recently the Paris 2023 Overpass Souvenir Package, Rio 2022 Overpass Souvenir Package, and Stockholm 2021 Overpass Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. • Minimal Wear ($5.33): The stormy blue and grey colors are nearly full and vibrant, with only very minor edge wear potentially visible on hard corners upon close inspection. This effectively functions as the top-condition tier for the skin.
• Field-Tested ($1.27): Light to moderate edge wear appears along the front, magazine well edges, and raised parts, though the stormy colors remain clearly visible and identifiable.
