Origin Story

The Nova | Wood Fired was released on December 6, 2018, as part of the Welcome to the Danger Zone update and its associated Danger Zone Collection. This shotgun skin features a green woodgrain base, accented with blue details and distinct burned-in flame motifs. It is generally regarded as a budget-friendly, mid-tier shotgun skin from an older collection. The Gunsmith finish style gives it a mixed-material appearance, combining wood texture with painted sections and detailed overlays.

• Well-Worn ($0.37): Heavier wear is present, with clear fading of painted overlays and parts of the flame design appearing partially erased on edges and high-contact zones.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.35): Extensive paint loss and fading occur along the barrel, receiver edges, and stock, with large portions of the flames and blue accents heavily muted or missing.

Wood Fired uses the legacy Nova model, introduced with Welcome to the Danger Zone on December 6, 2018. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The Nova | Wood Fired is part of The Danger Zone Collection. As a Mil-Spec grade skin, it can be acquired through trade-up contracts using ten skins of the same rarity from The Danger Zone Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
