Origin Story

The MP5-SD | Nitro, released on December 3, 2020, with Operation Broken Fang, features individual parts spray-painted in black and tangerine orange. This solid color finish visually aligns it with other "Nitro" skins, characterized by their distinct black and orange color scheme. As an Industrial Grade item within The Control Collection, it provides an accessible entry point to a collection known for its rarity since Operation Broken Fang concluded. Drop Chance

• Minimal Wear (No Recent Price): Colors appear clean and saturated, with only very small nicks or hairline scratches on sharp edges of the receiver and suppressor; this is the cleanest generally available tier.
• Field-Tested ($3.59): Slightly more visible edge wear appears on the front of the suppressor, corners of the receiver, and around high-touch points, with orange and black colors remaining clear.
• Well-Worn ($3.79): Significant chipping is present along many edges, with more of the underlying material visible on the suppressor front and receiver top edges, giving the solid color sections a rougher look.
• Battle-Scarred ($3.63): Heavy wear covers most prominent edges and surfaces, with large areas of exposed underlayer possible on the suppressor and receiver, and colors appearing duller and more broken up.

The MP5-SD | Nitro originates from The Control Collection, which was part of Operation Broken Fang and is now in the rare random-drop pool.
