Origin Story

The M4A1-S | Nitro was released on November 27, 2013, as part of the "Out with the old, in with the new" update and is a member of The Safehouse Collection. This skin features individual parts spray-painted in black and tangerine orange. Its solid color finish provides a clean, two-tone appearance that emphasizes the rifle's silhouette.

Drop Chance

M4A1-S | Nitro is Restricted, a Purple-tier skin in the upper half of the rarity ladder. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Safehouse Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Restricted drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. It is the only Restricted skin in the collection. Most copies enter the market through trade-up contracts or direct purchase at a listed seller's price.
