Origin Story

The P90 | Teardown, released on November 27, 2013, as part of the "Out with the old, in with the new" update, hails from The Lake Collection. Its design features a distressed, jagged pattern achieved by spray-painting freehand through mesh fabric, giving it a distinct torn-stripe motif. This skin is recognized as a utilitarian option for budget loadouts, often appearing as a souvenir from early Operation and Collection-era map drops. It is generally regarded as common and accessible, rather than a collector's centerpiece.

Drop Chance

P90 | Teardown is Mil-Spec, a Blue-tier skin, less common than base collection drops. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Lake Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Mil-Spec drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. There are 2 other Mil-Spec skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. Most copies enter the market through trade-up contracts or direct purchase at a listed seller's price.

Skin Condition

Float range 0 to 0.6. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Factory New ($1.04): The muted dark blue/teal, grey, and black spray-painted stripes are fully intact and crisp, with edges and corners remaining clean.
• Minimal Wear ($0.38): Light edge wear begins to appear on the muzzle, magazine edges, and high points of the receiver, while the stencil pattern remains sharp.
• Field-Tested ($0.24): Noticeable chipping along edges and moderate scratches on the upper receiver and magazine show some base metal, making the skin appear used but not heavily damaged.
• Well-Worn ($0.25): Heavy edge wear and larger areas of the stencil pattern are worn down, with more dull, patchy surfaces and exposed base material on the front assembly and stock.
• Battle-Scarred ($0.19): Extensive chipping and scratching cover most surfaces, with large parts of the edges and flat areas showing exposed base metal and a significantly faded, dull overall tone.

Model

Teardown uses the legacy P90 model, introduced with Out with the old, in with the new on November 27, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

This skin can also be found in various Lake Souvenir Packages from past Majors, such as DreamHack 2013, EMS One 2014, ESL One Cologne 2014, DreamHack Winter 2014, and ESL One Katowice 2015. Players can also acquire this Mil-Spec skin through trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from The Lake Collection.
