Origin Story

The FAMAS | Teardown, released on November 27, 2013, as part of the Out with the old, in with the new update, features a spray-painted design from The Safehouse Collection. Its in-game description notes it was spray-painted freehand using mesh fabric as a stencil. This gives the skin a distinct pattern of overlapping diagonal stripes and net-like textures across the weapon's body. The Teardown is recognized as an older, budget-friendly FAMAS skin, often grouped with other basic spray-paint finishes.

Drop Chance

FAMAS | Teardown is Mil-Spec, a Blue-tier skin, less common than base collection drops. It can drop as an end-of-match reward from active competitive play on the Safehouse Collection item pool. Map drops follow a weighted rarity system that heavily favors common grades, so Mil-Spec drops are uncommon and Valve doesn't publish per-skin odds. Float range 0 to 0.6. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Factory New ($2.11): The blue and grey spray patterns are clean and saturated, with no visible edge wear on the barrel or receiver corners.
• Minimal Wear ($0.43): Small edge scuffs appear on high-contact areas like the front barrel edges, but the spray pattern remains largely intact, making this a value pick for a clean appearance.
• Field-Tested ($0.20): Noticeable fading on the handguard edges and magwell corners, with some segments of the mesh pattern looking muted and the blue colors slightly duller.
• Well-Worn ($0.23): Significant fading and chipping are present along the front end and top edges of the receiver, with more of the underlying base material showing through and the mesh pattern becoming patchy.

Model

Teardown uses the legacy FAMAS model, introduced with Out with the old, in with the new on November 27, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.
