Origin Story

The P250 | Bone Mask, released on November 27, 2013, as part of the "Out with the old, in with the new" update, is a skin from The Mirage Collection. Its design features a muted tan base with brown and gray patterns, created to look like it was spray-painted using masking tape as a stencil. This gives the skin an appearance of irregular, bone-like shapes on the upper slide and frame. The overall aesthetic aligns with the dusty, desert-like palette of the Mirage map, to which its collection is tied.

Drop Chance

P250 | Bone Mask is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It has appeared across 13 tournament packages, most recently the Krakow 2017 Mirage Souvenir Package, London 2018 Mirage Souvenir Package, and MLG Columbus 2016 Mirage Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Each package contains one item from The Mirage Collection, with rarity tiers drawn on a weighted system that heavily favors common grades, meaning Consumer Grade skins like Bone Mask are a small fraction of total package contents. There are 5 other Consumer Grade skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. New copies only enter the market when a recipient chooses to open their package, so supply trickles in over time even after the tournament ends.

Float range 0.06 to 0.8. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Factory New ($23.43): The tan and brown masking-tape pattern is crisp and fully opaque across the slide and frame, with minimal surface scratching.
• Minimal Wear ($3.50): Colors remain strong with only minor scuffs along sharp edges like the muzzle and rear of the slide, appearing nearly new in gameplay.
• Field-Tested ($2.83): Noticeable dulling of the tan and brown areas, with more visible wear on the slide edges and trigger guard, making the pattern look more washed-out.
• Well-Worn ($3.31): Significant fading across main surfaces, with the tan base shifting to a grayish tone and the mask pattern appearing patchy, especially on sharp edges.
• Battle-Scarred ($2.61): The pattern is heavily muted with extensive scuffing, making the masking-tape design hard to distinguish and giving the skin a very worn, almost monochromatic appearance.

Bone Mask uses the legacy P250 model, introduced with Out with the old, in with the new on November 27, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

The P250 | Bone Mask is exclusively available as a Souvenir skin from various Mirage Souvenir Packages, such as the Atlanta 2017 Mirage Souvenir Package or the Katowice 2019 Mirage Souvenir Package. These packages were originally awarded to viewers during past Major tournaments when watching matches played on the Mirage map. Players primarily acquire this skin by purchasing it directly from other players on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or through case-opening and skin trading sites.
