Origin Story

The Bayonet | Slaughter, introduced on August 14, 2013, with The Arms Deal update, is a classic red premium knife finish. Its blade features a zebra-stripe pattern painted with aluminum and chrome, then covered with a vibrant tomato red candy coat, creating a glossy, reflective appearance. This finish is considered a status symbol among collectible knives, with its distinctive red and silver palette making it a highly sought-after item. The in-game description notes that "Valeria doesn't pay Javier to ask questions... she pays him to pry out answers."

Drop Chance

• Field-Tested ($423.56): The red remains clearly visible, but the finish loses some of its high-gloss look, and edge wear becomes distinctly visible along the tip and cutting edge, with the metallic underlayer starting to show through.
