Origin Story

The Karambit | Scorched debuted on August 14, 2013, as part of The Arms Deal update, introducing one of the game's earliest knife finishes. Its design features a spray-painted, sun-dappled pattern across the blade in muted black, dark brown, and tan tones. This finish is widely considered a budget-friendly option for players seeking to acquire the Karambit knife model at a lower price point. The Scorched aesthetic provides a charred, camo-like appearance, with the curved blade face being the most prominent visual element in first-person view.

Drop Chance

Karambit | Scorched is a knife-tier skin, so standard Valve rarity odds don't apply. Knives drop at a combined rate of approximately 0.26% from supported cases before accounting for which knife type and finish you get. Valve doesn't publish individual knife or phase probabilities.

Float range 0.06 to 0.8. Exteriors: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is available in FN, MW, FT, WW, BS.

• Minimal Wear ($640.62): The spray-painted pattern is mostly intact, with only light edge wear appearing on the blade tip and outer curve.
• Field-Tested ($634.02): Noticeable but moderate edge wear along the blade's outer curve and tip, with some "sun-dappled" spots beginning to thin.
• Well-Worn ($552.57): Larger sections of the blade's edge and outer curve show substantial paint loss, making the spray pattern appear more washed-out and patchy.
• Battle-Scarred ($666.62): Extensive paint loss on the blade edges and flat surfaces, with large portions of the underlying metal visible, giving the knife a significantly lighter and more "raw" appearance.

Model

Scorched uses the legacy Karambit model, introduced with The Arms Deal on August 14, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

These cases are now in the rare case drop pool, making new drops infrequent. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking.
