The in-game description notes it has been "painstakingly etched by hand," reflecting a couture firearm aesthetic. Imprint uses the legacy CZ75-Auto model, introduced with Double Exposure on August 19, 2016. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

The CZ75-Auto | Imprint is primarily obtained by opening the Gamma 2 Case. While the Gamma 2 Case is now part of the rare drop pool, existing cases can still be opened to acquire this Mil-Spec pistol. Players can also obtain it through trade-up contracts using ten lower-rarity skins from The Gamma 2 Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. For direct purchase, the skin can be found on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, and various case-opening or skin-trading sites.
