Talon Knife | Stained

Origin Story

The Talon Knife | Stained was released on August 3, 2018, as part of the A New Horizon update. Its appearance features a forced patina, achieved by dripping lemon and mustard onto the blade's surface. The in-game description highlights this unique staining process. Its flavor text playfully warns, "If you think it's messy now, wait until you see it under a blacklight."

Drop Chance

Talon Knife | Stained is a knife-tier skin, so standard Valve rarity odds don't apply. Knives drop at a combined rate of approximately 0.26% from supported cases before accounting for which knife type and finish you get. Valve doesn't publish individual knife or phase probabilities.
