Talon Knife | Urban Masked

Origin Story

The Talon Knife | Urban Masked was released on August 3, 2018, as part of the A New Horizon update

Drop Chance

Talon Knife | Urban Masked is a knife-tier skin, so standard Valve rarity odds don't apply. Knives drop at a combined rate of approximately 0.26% from supported cases before accounting for which knife type and finish you get. Valve doesn't publish individual knife or phase probabilities.

Skin Condition

Float range 0.06 to 0.8. Exteriors: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is available in FN, MW, FT, WW, BS.

• Minimal Wear ($393.32): The gray camo pattern on the blade remains mostly intact with only minor dulling on the tip and spine, presenting a clean look. This is the premium playable tier since Factory New is not available.
• Field-Tested ($289.94): Noticeable edge wear appears along the cutting edge and tip, with small patches of underlying base metal showing through, giving the knife a more rugged style. This is often the value pick for many knives.
• Well-Worn ($252.00): Larger sections of the blade edges and some flat areas show substantial metal exposure, and the gray pattern becomes patchy and desaturated.
• Battle-Scarred ($297.79): Extensive exposed metal and heavy scratching are visible across most surfaces, with the gray camo pattern appearing muted, washed-out, or fragmented on the blade. This is typically the cheapest entry point for this knife.

Model

Urban Masked uses the legacy Talon Knife model, introduced with A New Horizon on August 3, 2018. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

Visual Theme

Spray-Paint: It has been spray-painted using a tangle of masking tape as a stencil. The dominant colors are mid to dark gray tones with lighter gray masking patterns, giving it an urban-camouflage look. The Talon's curved blade and distinctive hooked tip are prominently visible in first-person, displaying the sprayed gray camo pattern. Urban Masked knives are often compared to other low-contrast, tactical and military finishes, offering an understated alternative to more colorful options.

Sticker Compatibility

Knives do not have sticker slots, so sticker compatibility is not directly applicable to the Talon Knife | Urban Masked itself. The muted gray and urban camouflage pattern of this knife pairs well with monochrome, black/white, gray, or blue sticker themes on primary weapons, complementing its subdued aesthetic.
