This design gives the weapon a distinct tech-inspired look, fitting its flavor text, "The journey is random; the result is not." The skin is primarily a thematic, collection-oriented item, offering a cohesive aesthetic alongside other Nuke-themed finishes. Drop Chance

AUG | Random Access is Restricted, a Purple-tier skin in the upper half of the rarity ladder. It has appeared across 11 tournament packages, most recently the Rio 2022 Nuke Souvenir Package, Shanghai 2024 Nuke Souvenir Package, and Stockholm 2021 Nuke Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Each package contains one item from The 2018 Nuke Collection, with rarity tiers drawn on a weighted system that heavily favors common grades, meaning Restricted skins like Random Access are a small fraction of total package contents. There are 2 other Restricted skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. New copies only enter the market when a recipient chooses to open their package, so supply trickles in over time even after the tournament ends.

Skin Condition

Float range 0 to 0.5. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Factory New ($13.88): The red circuit-board lines and components are clean, sharp, and fully saturated over a deep black base.
• Minimal Wear ($2.65): The red circuitry remains vibrant with strong contrast, showing only subtle wear on barrel edges or the front of the body upon close inspection.
• Field-Tested ($2.15): Noticeable but moderate wear appears as some edge fading and small scratches on high-contact areas, while the black base may look slightly less crisp.
• Well-Worn ($1.61): More pronounced wear is visible with fading on edges and more frequent scratches, and the anodized sheen may appear duller.
• Battle-Scarred ($1.61): Significant edge wear, dulled colors, and possible loss of fine line detail are present, though the red circuit pattern remains recognizable.

Random Access uses the legacy AUG model, introduced with FACEIT 2018 – Ways to Watch on September 1, 2018. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

The AUG | Random Access is exclusively found in Souvenir quality, originating from The 2018 Nuke Collection. It was distributed via tournament-specific packages, such as the Antwerp 2022 Nuke Souvenir Package, Austin 2025 Nuke Souvenir Package, Berlin 2019 Nuke Souvenir Package, Budapest 2025 Nuke Souvenir Package, Copenhagen 2024 Nuke Souvenir Package, Katowice 2019 Nuke Souvenir Package, London 2018 Nuke Souvenir Package, Paris 2023 Nuke Souvenir Package, Rio 2022 Nuke Souvenir Package, and Shanghai 2024 Nuke Souvenir Package. These packages were awarded to viewers during past Major events. Since new packages are no longer distributed, the skin is primarily acquired by purchasing existing copies on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or through various case-opening and skin trading sites.
