Origin Story

The Classic Knife | Blue Steel, released on October 18, 2019, with the Cache and Release update, features a cold blued finish. This bluing process gives the knife a muted metallic blue-gray patina, a distinct look that avoids bright colors or high-contrast patterns. The in-game description succinctly states, "It has been cold blued." As the arms dealer Booth once remarked, "This is the malbec of weapon design."
