Origin Story

The Nova | Clear Polymer features a custom paint job designed to mimic a transparent casing, allowing a view into the weapon's inner workings. This visual effect gives the shotgun a distinct, almost skeletal appearance. It was released on December 3, 2020, as part of The Operation Broken Fang Collection, coinciding with the launch of Operation Broken Fang. The flavor text, "Your goals are clear," plays on the transparent theme of the design.

The Nova Clear Polymer is primarily found by opening the Operation Broken Fang Case. Players can also acquire this Restricted rarity shotgun skin through trade-up contracts, using ten lower-rarity skins from The Operation Broken Fang Collection. A StatTrak version is also available for kill tracking. For direct purchase, the skin is readily available on the Steam Community Market, various third-party marketplaces, and case-opening sites.
