Origin Story

The Five-SeveN | Contractor was released on November 27, 2013, as part of the "Out with the old, in with the new" update and belongs to The Mirage Collection. Its design features individual parts spray-painted in tan, navy, and dark green, giving it a utilitarian look. The in-game description notes, "Rona Sabri still hasn't forgiven Sebastien for not selecting her to go after Turner," adding a touch of lore to this pistol. As a Consumer Grade skin from a map collection, it serves as a foundational piece for those completing the Mirage Collection.

Drop Chance

Five-SeveN | Contractor is Consumer Grade, the most common drop tier in CS2. It has appeared across 13 tournament packages, most recently the Krakow 2017 Mirage Souvenir Package, London 2018 Mirage Souvenir Package, and MLG Columbus 2016 Mirage Souvenir Package.


Souvenir Packages are awarded to viewers watching live Major matches on the corresponding map, not opened from cases, so Valve doesn't publish per-skin drop odds. Each package contains one item from The Mirage Collection, with rarity tiers drawn on a weighted system that heavily favors common grades, meaning Consumer Grade skins like Contractor are a small fraction of total package contents. There are 5 other Consumer Grade skins in the collection competing for the same drop slot. New copies only enter the market when a recipient chooses to open their package, so supply trickles in over time even after the tournament ends.

Float range 0.06 to 0.8. Exteriors: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred. StatTrak is not available for this skin.

• Minimal Wear ($4.14): Slight softening of edges may appear on the slide and front, but the color blocks remain solid and clean.
• Field-Tested ($2.89): Noticeable edge wear and small chips appear along the slide ridges and muzzle, and the tan paint begins to dull slightly.
• Well-Worn ($3.42): Moderate chipping and fading are present across major surfaces, with tan areas appearing mottled or patchy.
• Battle-Scarred ($3.28): Heavy wear affects edges and flat surfaces, with widespread fading and significant loss of color uniformity, especially on the tan segments.

Model

Contractor uses the legacy Five-SeveN model, introduced with Out with the old, in with the new on November 27, 2013. The inspect animation and third-person appearance match the original CS:GO version.

How to Obtain

The Five-SeveN | Contractor is exclusively available as a Souvenir item from The Mirage Collection. It originally dropped from specific tournament souvenir packages, including the Atlanta 2017 Mirage Souvenir Package, Boston 2018 Mirage Souvenir Package, and Katowice 2019 Mirage Souvenir Package, among others, which were awarded to viewers during Major tournaments. These souvenir packages are no longer actively distributed. Today, players primarily acquire this skin by purchasing existing copies from other players on the Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces, or through various case-opening and skin trading sites.
